Christmas Made in the South
Come and enjoy a fantastic holiday experience in the guise of “Christmas Made in the South,” the annual gathering of over 350 artists and master craftsmen under one roof, Nov. 28 – Nov.30 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.
The variety of work for sale is truly astounding: You’ll find one-of-a-kind ornaments, pottery, toys, jewelry, fine art, furniture, metal sculptures, woven designs, art from glass and photography promising holiday magic for those in attendance.
“It will be like having 350 little shops to visit,” says Janice Hunt, Show Organizer. “And everything will be unique and one-of-a-kind. This is a juried show so everything must be the exhibitor’s own work and design, not commercially made or manufactured. The artist will be there to talk to the show goers about their individual craft.”
“Christmas Made in the South” held its first show 34 years ago in Charlotte and now tours many cities throughout the Southeast attracting exhibitors from throughout the country. Some 20,000 attendees are expected for the show this year alone. “The quality of the artists has evolved,” Hunt says defining the changes over the years. “We have an excellent mix to fit everyone’s taste. Many people plan annual trips just for the show.” At “Christmas Made in the South” you are sure to find something for everyone on your gift list plus many decorative items for yourself to cherish for years to come.
