QuiltFest Inc. of Jacksonville, FL has been presenting this annual quilt show for over 20 years. This year’s theme is “Quilting Thru the Ages”.
Cash prizes to quilters will total almost $8,000.
Special displays will include quilts from the past, antique sewing machines and Wounded Warrior Quilts.
In addition to looking at beautiful quilts, visitors can shop for quilting supplies at 70 vendor booths, buy a ready-made quilt at the Quilt Sale Table, bid on miniature quilts at the Silent Auction, or purchase tickets for a chance to take home one of 7 exquisite quilts or a basket full of quilting goodies.
For those who would like to sit and sew for a while, there will be children’s pillowcases to be made and Me Dolls to be stuffed. Kids can enjoy looking at the quilts in the Young Quilters category in the show and then make a quilt block to carry home.
Demonstrations on quilting techniques will be held about every 30 minutes.
A Food Court in the main exhibit hall will be open every day.
